Every day at HOLLY is a chance to do what we love most: to elevate the style and enhancing the self-confidence of women every day of the year. And, during the holidays when the spotlights pop on and the focus is cheerful events, we relish the opportunity to help our clients shine.

Being part of a vibrant community is another way we get to experience that feeling of contributing meaningfully.

One of our greatest joys is the ability to support our community whether it’s in celebrating the anniversary of a fellow business, joining together for the lighting of the Holiday Tree Lighting, or attending workshops or special events.

We feel so fortunate to be a part of a community as welcoming, visible, and dynamic as ours, and to have a special place in helping women’s confidence to blossom and grow.

We really feel like we’re contributing to something bigger than just ourselves!

That’s why, for the second year in a row, we are proud to support our community by participating in the Shoebox Project. And we’re inviting you to join us!

Particularly during the holiday season, we endeavour to extend those feelings of good fortune and some extra loving care to women impacted by homelessness in our community. An the Shoebox Project is a beautiful way to help do exactly that.

What is the Shoebox Project?

Established in 2011, by our friend Jessica Mulroney and her three sisters-in-law, the Shoebox Project for Women, supported by Dream, collects and distributes gift-filled, wrapped Shoeboxes to women impacted by homelessness in communities across Canada and the US.

And it’s a wonderful way to share a little extra love and kindness during the holidays.

How impactful is it for me to participate?

The Shoebox Project has distributed over 130,000 Shoeboxes, valued at over 6.5 million dollars to women impacted by homelessness in Canada and the US!

And, since your Shoebox gifts will be donated to agencies within the GTA, women in our own community will benefit directly from your kindness.

What should you fill your boxes with?

Items that would help any woman feel special! (to a value of $50)

When can I drop them off?

We’re proud to support our friend Jessica and her family’s impactful organization. And, we’re thrilled to be collecting Shoeboxes at HOLLY Eyewear until December 13th!

So the next time you’re running your personal errands, and stocking up on stocking stuffers for your friends and family, consider adding a few items for a woman in our community who could also benefit from some holiday cheer.
