Thierry Lasry, a french designer, launched his sunglass line in 2006. His designs are based on the concept of "futuristic vintage" fusing vintage inspirations with an updated, modern and avant-gardist touch. All sunglasses are designed with a flat front, giving a futuristic twist to reto-inspired shapes. All sunglass frames are entirely handmade in France, using only but the finest craftsmanship techniques. The acetate used for each frame is from the reputable Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli. The acetate front is made using a process more akin to sculpture than to regular cutting techniques. The process of layering the acetate, creates textures by combining sheets of different colours one against each other.
